What this actually is

Let's be direct: each contest is a player-vs-player prediction game that runs alongside the token's trading. You compete against every other chaser's drawn path, not against the house. The game opens when the storm forms and closes when the challenge window ends - submissions lock 24 hours after the storm is officially named a tropical storm, and tracking stops as soon as it drops below tropical storm strength, or the moment the NHC stops carrying the system as a tropical cyclone, whichever is first. Then the contest is over for good.

When it closes, an official NOAA/NHC track is published and every prediction is scored against it by the same automated engine - no judging, no discretion, just distance in miles. The closest path wins 90% of the creator rewards the token generated while trading happened. That payout is the prize. It is the whole point, and it is the only promise.

What happens to the token afterwards

Honestly: that isn't defined yet. When a storm stops being tracked, its contest is archived - the maps, leaderboard, and result stay online as a permanent record, and the token simply becomes a memento of the game that was played. There is no promised roadmap, utility, or future utility claim for $DOLLY or any later storm token beyond the contest itself. If that ever changes, it will be announced plainly; until then, treat each token as entry into a game with a beginning and an end - because that is exactly what it is.

Fair play

One entry per storm chaser, locked permanently at submission. The site never holds funds, never asks you to sign a transaction, and never takes custody of anything.

To be paid, an entry needs a Solana payout wallet that holds the contest token, with the buy transaction settled on chain before submissions lock. If the closest path fails that check, the prize moves to the next closest entry that passes it.
